Medium Duty (MD, MDS & MDF) Sensor

The MD series medium duty sensor is a robust unit that embodies a removable sensor insert.

The interchangeable spring loaded SLI insert allows fast removal for calibration or replacement whilst the outer sheath or thermowell remains on the process equipment.

These units are supplied in either PT100 RTD or any type of thermocouple configuration with a range of connection heads. In addition the sheaths can be supplied as a plain stem or with a screwed or flanged process connection.

Sensors are available in single, duplex or triplex formats with resistance thermometers available in 2, 3 or 4 wire connection. The connection head can be supplied fitted with a conventional terminal block or a temperature transmitter to provide a 4 to 20mA output.
