Heavy Duty (HD, HDS & HDF) Sensor

The HD series is of rugged construction and designed to meet both the demands of the process as well as the installation environment.

The assembly comprises a solid drilled thermowell in a choice of materials to suit the process media. Process connections are offered as either screwed or flanged and are available to meet most International Standards.

The lagging extension includes a nipple/union/nipple joint to allow the connection head to be orientated to the desired position and the connection head is fully weatherproofed to IP67. 

The internal sensing probe is produced as a spring loaded insert and can be either in the form of a thermocouple or a PT100 resistance thermometer.

Where transmission distances are lengthy or located in electrically noisy environments, then head mounted temperature transmitters can be fitted to provide a 4 to 20mA signal output. These are available both for safe and hazardous areas.
