Temperature Switch (T1000, TF172 and TF171)

The series T1000, TF172 and TF171 temperature switches, manufactured by Pyropress Ltd, are rugged instruments suitable for all areas of plant where stand alone temperature alarm or control is required.

The instrument is available with either a die-cast aluminium or stainless steel instrument case. For hazardous areas the TF171 is ATEX certified EExd for CAT and CAT3 (Zones 1 and 2) or ATEX EEia approved for CAT1 (Zone 0) applications. For industrial and marine environments the Guardian T1000 can be specified.

A flexible range of temperature measurement is offered with the instrument having a span of 50°C. Temperature ranges extend from -10°C to +250°C.

Alarm or control switching is provided by a single pole change over, snap action microswitch with a contact rating of 5A at 250V AC and 3A at 30V DC.

Various stem lengths can be provided up to a maximum of 1195mm and process connections from 3/8" up to 1" in BSP or NPT thread forms are available.
