Thermowell (TW/S and TW/F)

Thermowells can be supplied to suit the customers existing temperature sensors or supplied together with temperature sensors manufactured by ourselves.

Where process pressures are not expected to exceed 10 bar thermowells can be supplied in 316L stainless steel in a fabricated format.

For more demanding applications and where higher process pressures are expected, then thermowells that are solid drilled from bar stock are available. Either machined from different grades of stainless steel or in a variety of exotic materials to suit the demands of the process media.  

Solid drilled thermowells can have either parallel or tapered stems with flat, domed or hemispherical tips. They can be supplied with bore dimensions of up to 16mm to meet customers existing sensor inserts when supplied without the sensor.

Process connections in either screwed or flanged format are provided to meet most International Standards.
