Autoclave Chamber Entry (CPF) Adaptors:

The CPF series of adaptors were designed as high integrity entry gland seals for autoclave probes and provide a single access point to the chamber.

This is particularly useful when using multiple probes. The base of the flange adaptor is identical to the original manufacturers flange, but it includes an entry gland based on soft sealant technology. The adaptor flange, body and other wetted parts are in 316L stainless steel and the soft sealant is in Teflon®.

The unit accepts up to 6 autoclave chamber/load probes with cable diameters of 4.6mm and can also be used in conjunction with the Steriprobe and Sterimaster autoclave load or chamber probes.

Where it is required to remove one or more probes when using the adapter with multiple probes (perhaps for operational reasons), normal sterilising procedures can still be maintained by fitting the vacant positions with an EGB entry gland blank. See data sheet No 034 for further information. The EGB is fabricated in 316L stainless steel to the same diameter of the absent probe. It is constructed with a larger diameter on the chamber side to prevent movement of the blank through the sealant when exposed to chamber pressure.

The FA1 is designed for use with Finn-Aqua autoclaves and the FE1 for use with Fedegari autoclaves.
