Sensor (SSA200) with Hermetically Sealed Connector :

The SSA200 series was originally designed for use with portable process plant within the pharmaceutical industry such as fermenter vessels.

It utilises an aerospace/military style of connector in 316L stainless steel with a glass based die-electric seal. This construction allows the whole unit to be left in position on the item of plant during CIP procedures or sterilisation cycles.

The sensing probe itself can be provided with different types of process connection, such as a sliding union, welded on connector with a male thread or a Tri-clover type of hygienic flange.
