High Density (HDe) Feedthrough :
The HDe series high density feedthrough will permit from 6 to 30 thermocouples or alternatively 12 to 60 copper conductors to pass through a single process connection.
The Teflon® insulated copper or thermocouple conductors used are 24 AWG (0.51mm diameter) solid conductors and these are held within a Teflon® liner. The conductor assembly is then inserted into a 316 stainless steel tube which is swaged down on to the conductors to produce the high density feedthrough. The conductor length for the assembly allows a minimum of 600mm either side of the stainless steel feedthrough.
The number of conductors selected for the feedthrough tube determines the size of the PG sealing gland required to connect to the process vessel. The PG sealing gland utilises a Teflon® soft sealant to seal against the process pressure or vacuum.
When using copper conductors for low voltage instrumentation signals power levels should not exceed 100V DC at 500mA.
The maximum operating temperature range is -80°C to +120°C and the maximum operating pressure is 345 bar at 20°C.
