Validation Thermocouple Entry Glands (TCEG/1 and TCEG/2)

Our experience in supplying and working with our customers in the pharmaceutical sector led us to consider an improved method for the temporary installation of validation thermocouples.

 The TCEG/1 (accepting up to 18 thermocouple pairs) and the TCEG/2 (accepting up to 36 thermocouple pairs) provides a fast and simple solution to the installation of validation thermocouples. The TCEG bodies are machined from 316L stainless steel bar stock and are offered with the option of various sizes of Tri-clover flanges.

The cap of the unit which forms part of the non-wetted assembly is machined from CZ121 brass bar stock and is polyurethane coated. The cap also contains an integral locking mechanism which prevents it from being removed inadvertantly.

When the number of thermocouples required is greater than 36, then a 'Y' or 'T' piece can be mounted on the chamber entry and two TCEG's can be fitted, increasing the maximum capacity to 72 thermocouples.
