Stainless Steel Spool and Ampoule Holder:
Stainless steel spools can be produced to suit various pipe sizes and using Tri-clover mounting flanges.
Where it is necessary to monitor the temperature of pure water in water systems, spools in 316L stainless steel can be manufactured and fitted with a thermowell containing either a PT100 resistance thermometer or a thermocouple sensor.
Additionally the sensors output signal can be taken directly to the receiving instrumentation or a 4 to 20mA high level signal can be provided by fitting a local temperature transmitter.
Ampoule Holder :
Biological indicator ampoules provide the most convenient and controlled method of obtaining cycle lethality data for the validation of fluid sterilisation processes.
However it is important to bear in mind that credible data is dependent on the ampoule being maintained as close as possible to the geometric centre of the liquid during the entire process cycle.
The ampoule is held in position within a Teflon® holder by a stainless steel wire and units are available for all bottle sizes.
