Kapton® Tape:

The choice of adhesive backed tapes that are suitable for use in the environment of an autoclave chamber during sterilisation are restricted by the high operating temperature.

High temperature Kapton® adhesive tape is ideal for taping thermocouples in position in an autoclave chamber or restricting the movement of small product containers or ampoules during sterilisation cycles.

The tape is supplied in 12mm wide x 33 metre long rolls and is 25µM thick, with one side of the tape coated with a clear, cross linked silicone polymer pressure sensitive adhesive. It can be used in temperatures up to 370°C.
