Steriprobe® (SL100) Autoclave Chamber/Load Probe Sensor

The SL100 Steriprobe® load and chamber probe (SL104 Sterimaster® in the USA) were specifically designed to meet the demanding conditions found in a pharmaceutical autoclave chamber.

The necessity of maintaining accurate and reliable temperature measurement in this application is an essential requirement for both regulatory and product value considerations. However achieving both these goals can be difficult if the autoclave temperature sensors have not been manufactured to meet both the hostile conditions found in the chamber and the operators handling. 

 

The Steriprobe and the Sterimaster have for many years found favour with both end users and autoclave manufacturers. This is in part because very few if any of our competitors comparable products use Grade 316L stainless steel throughout the assembly. It is also a fact that the sensor lead wire, as with the SL150 and SL160, is protected by a jacket of thick walled, extruded silicone rubber, produced from a silicone compound that is FDA listed (21CFR 177 2600). As with our other products full back up certification is maintained for all the materials of construction.
